1/7
Venus - Long ago, Venus was inhabited by the ancestors of the Phiffiszlii and Sorfisii. When its environment became unstable, these beings migrated to Planet Nine.
Earth - It is the cradle of human civilization. In the far future, it became the capital of the Solanic Empire. Earth underwent a drastic climate change between 2000 and 3000 AD that completely altered the distribution of its ecosystems.
Mars - Once inhabited by intelligent reptiles, Mars became the desert planet it is today after the destruction of Faerie. Mars was also known as "Upper Earth", making Terra and Venus "Middle Earth" and "Lower Earth" respectively.
Faerie - The Fay/Masters lived here before its destruction during a nuclear experiment. After that, the Fay/Masters escaped to Planet Nine, Earth, and Mars. The remains of Faerie are the Asteroid Belt. Many mythical creatures, such as the Phoenix bird, are native to this world.
Ganymede - This moon of Jupiter is briefly mentioned as a having large human colony.
Planet Nine/Han-olki/Gargaroni - Planet Nine's true name is Han-olki, although it is called by the Glarkoii "Gargaroni." It is the home planet of the Cortax and the permanent base for Glarkoii refugees from another star system.
Cortax (sing. Cortam) - Originating on Planet NIne, the Cortax are a tribal species of three-legged beings with bowl-shaped heads. They have a stone-age culture and are always traveling across the many islands of Planet Nine.
Fay/Masters - These humanoid creatures are the gods of Earthling mythology. Around 65 million years ago, the Fay (otherwise known as the Masters) were the dominant species in the solar system. By the time humans were around on Earth, the Fay empire was greatly declining. At around the sixth century AD, the Fay mysteriously vanished, only to be found again when...well, you'll have to read the books to find out!
Glarkoii (sing. Glarcus) - The Glarkoii are a wise and ancient race that migrated to Planet Nine from another star system when their home sun became unstable. They have three eyes, crab claws, and walk on sixteen short tentacles. Glarkoii are easily recognized by their characteristic pointed cap.
Humans - Legend has it that the explosion of the planet Faerie injected Earth with Fay DNA, causing Earth's lifeforms to mutate into an intelligent species with bodies similar to those of the Fay. Perhaps this is why humans are called the "New Masters." Whatever the case, Earthlings unite their forces under the Solanic Empire, a domain encompassing every planet that orbits our small, yellow sun.
Messengers - The Messengers are a group of intelligent beings that inhabit hyperspace. Not much is known about these mysterious creatures, except that they influence, direct, and occasionally interact directly with lifeforms in this universe. Messengers can be either "light" or "dark;" the goal of the Dark Messengers is to destroy the cosmic order.
Phiffiszlii (sing. Phiffiszl) – A large, green, and muscular creature on Planet Nine. They are basically humanoid but have one large eye and two elfish ears. Classified with Sorfisii, Phiffislzii wander around the land part of the planet, ensuring all is well. If a Ninite is injured or otherwise in need of help, a Phiffiszl will quickly come to the rescue.
Sorfisii (Sing. Sorfish) – An intelligent sea creature on Planet Nine. They are the newest addition to Planet Nine's biosphere and are just beginning to learn the ways of civilization. With plump bodies covered in long, sharp spikes, Sorfisii are known for their inability to understand good and evil. Each Sorfish has one eye with extremely good night vision. They use their spikes not for combat but rather to hold themselves in place during rough currents.
ETSP (Extraterrestrial Settlement Project) - An Earthling mission to settle a base on every planet or moon of a planet in Solanic Territory. Based in Denver, Colorado, ETSP was founded in 2038 AD and began by first settling the Moon and Mars. By 2120, ETSP had sent human explorers to Ganymede around Jupiter, Titan around Saturn, and Miranda around Uranus.
Solanica - A human dream that one day every state, country, and interplanetary colony would be united into one Solanic Empire governed by a capital city on Earth. By 2168 this plan was well underway, and students across the solar system were required to study under the "Solanic" system of education. This included heavy courses in astronomy and cosmology, as well as learning basic greetings in five Solanic languages. The year 2468 is known as 1 SE (Solanic Era). From that time onward, the Solanic Empire ruled supreme from the Council of Earth.
Project Avstriyat - The name of the mission by ETSP with the goal of sending several families and scientists to Planet Nine. Each craft of the same name contained between three to six crew members. While the first two Avstriyat craft only traveled to the Asteroid Belt and to the Jupiter Colonies respectively, Avstriyat III was the first to travel all the way to Planet Nine.
Distance from the sun: 60.78 AU (average; Astronomical Units: 1 AU = 93 million miles or the distance between Earth and the sun)
Rotational period (day): 62.4 hours
Orbital period (year): approximately 1,500 Earth years
Mass: approximately 8x the mass of Earth
Surface temperature: 73 to 323K (-200 to 50 degrees Celsius)
Gravity: 1.2 Earths
Atmospheric Composition: carbon dioxide, oxygen, nitrogen, sulfur dioxide, ammonia
Moons: 7
Planet Nine's high gravity squeezes its internal core, causing frequent volcanic eruptions on the surface. These eruptions spew gases into the atmosphere where they are converted into oxygen by airborne microbes. Other microbes in the soil convert volcanic material into nutrients that the native fungi need to grow. All higher lifeforms depend on these fungi to survive.
